Assisting again! and Intimacy Choreography?

After taking a detour into the land of dramaturgy, I'm super excited to get back into a little bit of directing. For the next month I'll be assisting Dobama Artistic Director, Nathan Motta, on his production of THIS. by Melissa James Gibson. The show is a really interesting tragicomedy, and I'm so eager to work with an Artistic Director on a show. I know I'm going to learn so much, and I can't wait to see what new skills I can add to my director's arsenal.

I'm also really excited to announce that I will be working as an intimacy choreographer on this production! I have some experience with TIE, and I'll be using those skills and the ones that I cultivated during my own shows to help make this rehearsal process artful, safe, and consent based.
